For those of you who may be new patients, Allure MedSpa is also a part of Patients First and located within our office. Allure MedSpa specializes in providing non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

Using advanced FDA-approved technology, we offer the latest procedures and products that are scientifically tested to provide results that enhance and rejuvenate your skin’s health and appearance. We have made some additions to our website in order to serve you faster and more efficiently. Do you need to schedule an appointment? Need a refill? Request a referral? You’ll notice on the front page, just to the right, “Patients Portal” – follow the prompts and carefully fill out the requested information. You must fill out all of the requested fields for the request to be processed. You will receive a prompt response regarding your request via email.

At the end of the year, I will be leaving Patients First to start a new practice.  It has been an honor and pleasure to serve you, and I thank you for your trust and confidence in your care.  The new practice, Trinity Healthcare, is a non-profit Christian Ministry that serves those without health insurance or access to healthcare.  Patients may follow me in the new practice if they choose.

Because the practice is a non-profit entity, it will operate differently than a traditional practice.  A very limited number of patients will be accepted in order to maximize service to those in need. If you would like more information about how you can be a part of this exciting new practice, visit the website: www.TrinityHC.org. For those current patients of mine at Patients First, Dr Berland and the rest of the staff will continue to provide health care. You may need to change your primary care doctor to him, and the staff will help you with this during your next office visit.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Elizabeth attended the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis campus and graduated in 2003 with a BA in psychology. She then moved to Des Moines, Iowa to attend the PA program at Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical Center. After graduating in 2006 with her Master of Science degree, she moved to Florida to begin practice.

She is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, currently serving on their Board of Directors as Secretary for the 2009-2010 term. The Academy works to improve healthcare for all Floridians.

Elizabeth worked for 2 years prior to joining Patients First in internal medicine, and her special interests include geriatrics, prevention of cardiovascular disease incorporating healthy diet and exercise, and chronic kidney disease and diabetes management. She also enjoys in-office skin procedures such as mole removal, suturing, and other biopsies.

She is available for well-woman exams, Pap smears, and other women’s health issues. Elizabeth is available to see children ages 5 and up for physicals as well.

To increase the variety of services that we can offer, we are now happy to offer medical spa services and primary care services all under one roof.

Bobbie is from North Carolina, and graduated from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Florida in 1989.  She has a wide array of experience in internal medicine, cardiology, and preventative medicine.  Bobbie sees all adult patients over the age of 18.

To do so, email us at refills@patients-first.com.  Please make sure that you leave us all pertinent information, including name, date of birth, your phone number, medication, dose, frequency, and pharmacy number.  We will make every effort to complete the request within 48 hours.  Please note that we will not fill antibiotics without an office visit.  For some medications, we must first see you to make sure that the medications are safely doing their job. This may require labs and/or physical examination.  We will not be checking email over the weekend.  If you don’t receive a confirmation email within 48 hours, please call to make sure that we have received your email .
